Benches include a plaque with wording of your choice (subject to approval). The cost to sponsor a bench in a park is $2,500. Sponsorship of benches located on the Idema Explorers Trail are $3,500.

The bench and plaque last as long as the normal life expectancy of the equipment. Please note that some of our parks may not have benches available. The process takes a minimum of 3-6 months to complete from initial inquiry to installation. Once you complete the form someone will contact you to verify the location of the bench and plaque wording.

The 3”x8” plaques can accommodate 15 to 20 words or around 120 characters including spaces on 3 or 4 lines. Simple inscriptions of less than 10 words on 2 or 3 lines work best.
 

There are a limited number of tables also available. Complete the commemorative bench form and include in the comment field that you are interested in a table. There are currently no benches available with a Lake Michigan view.
