Join us on October 14, 2026, at 4 PM for the Ottawa County Parks Foundation’s Annual Meeting and Bend Area Expansion Dedication.
The Annual Meeting will be held in person at the Bend Area. Parking information and additional details will be sent closer to the event date.
Join us for light refreshments as we thank our outgoing Board members for their dedication to the Ottawa County Parks Foundation. You’ll also have an opportunity to meet the Foundation’s Board of Directors and welcome our newly elected Board members.
Immediately following the Annual Meeting, we’ll celebrate one of the Foundation’s major accomplishments from the past 10 years with the dedication of the Bend Area expansion.
Ottawa County Parks and Recreation will dedicate the 185-acre acquisition to the Bend Area and share how you can help shape its future through the upcoming master planning process this fall and spring.
This addition:
- Expands the park to 606 acres
- Adds more than 2.5 miles of lake frontage
- Provides connectivity for the future Idema Explorers Trail route
