Join us on October 8, 2025 from 5 to 6:30 PM for the Ottawa County Parks Foundation’s Annual Meeting, Rosy Mound Dedication, and Dedication of the Alice Hoban Trail.
Join us for light refreshments as we thank outgoing Board members for their dedication to the Ottawa County Parks Foundation. Meet the Foundation Board of Directors, and welcome the newly elected Board members. Immediately following the Foundation’s Annual Meeting we will be highlighting one of our major projects this year with the dedication of the Rosy Mound expansion area.
The Ottawa County Parks and Recreation will dedicate the recently acquired 127-acre property next to Rosy Mound Natural Area, nearly doubling the park’s size to 291 acres and fulfilling a vision that started in 1989. They will also recognize the invaluable contributions of long-time supporter Alice Hoban by dedicating a future trail in her honor. This event will begin at 5:30 PM.
