Freedom, hope, glory. Eagles symbolize so much of our ethos in this country. What makes them so special? Curtis grew up in Grand Rapids, MI often traveling and exploring the outdoors with his family. He graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa with a degree in Environmental Studies. His experience as an educator and naturalist includes being a teacher, State Park Ranger in eastern North Carolina, and Assistant Director of Outdoor Education at Camp Roger in Rockford, MI. Since 2013, Curtis has served as a Parks Naturalist and Program Supervisor for Ottawa County. He is an avid birder and traveler, and delights in sharing his passion for birds and nature with others.
